What the game stores
Your preferences, tutorial progress, local records, anonymous browser session identifier, and analytics choice are stored in your browser. Clearing site data removes this local information.
Competition and challenges
If you use the competition board or friend challenges, TACO King sends an optional display name, anonymous session and run identifiers, game mode, score, customers served, accuracy, combo, timing, and challenge result to its Convex backend. Do not enter a real name if you do not want it displayed publicly.
Optional analytics
Analytics is disabled until you choose “Allow analytics.” If enabled, gameplay events and performance totals are sent to Convex and Google Analytics 4. Browser and run identifiers are not sent to Google. The game does not use analytics for advertising profiles.
Retention
Analytics events, completed run records, and challenge-attempt records are retained for up to 90 days. Friend challenges expire after 30 days. Best leaderboard entries may remain until replaced or removed.
Service providers
Convex provides game data storage and server functions. Google provides optional analytics. The static hosting provider delivers the game and may process standard request logs for security and reliability.
Your choices
You can decline analytics and still play. You can reset the analytics choice by clearing this site’s browser storage. To request removal of a public leaderboard name or ask a privacy question, contact privacy@playtacoking.com.
Children
TACO King is not designed to collect contact information from children. Players should use a nickname rather than a real name.
